In April 2015, we designed the chassis series of Tunnel shotcreting machine for a domestic machinery manufacturing company.

The core of customer needs is mainly divided into three parts: It can work in harsh construction environment for a long time and greatly improve the efficiency of construction work, ensuring that the products will not be damaged during construction, the cost of maintenance is very low and maintenance is very simple. Our summary of this is: increase the profit margin of customers who purchase the product.

Therefore, our design idea for this product is: the structure is simple and loose, the stability is excellent, and the parts are highly versatile.
According to customers' needs, we divided our products into three series: short wheelbase chassis for high precision small-scale operation environment, long wheelbase chassis for high efficiency large-scale operation environment, four-wheel chassis for harsh complex operation environment. The three series of chassis common parts are up to 80%, the main difference is the customer's different requirements for the driving environment, the power system requirements, and the difference between the front axle and the drive shaft.
In the suspension system, we take more into account the chassis for long-term fine vibration of the durability and comfort, the transmission structure need to be as simple and stable as possible to reduce the loss. We have designed and customized narrow-body frames and narrow-body drive axles to increase vehicle flexibility and reduce power loss as well.
Of course, we have made a lot of efforts in other areas, including air filtration system in harsh construction environment, engine heat dissipation in closed working environment and so on.
In the end, we achieved a result that the continuous operation time was increased from 24 hours to 72 hours, and the efficiency was increased by 3 times. Bicycle purchase costs fell by 25% and maintenance costs were reduced by 54%. Single vehicle operation has been increased from 32 km to 84 km, and the reason for the replacement is the effect of the solidification of the cement on the injection equipment, and only the replacement of the injection equipment is required.
The chassis has now sold more than 3,000 units.
