Vehicle: Desert Sightseeing and Rescue Vehicle

Use: Excursions in desert scenic spots and short-distance multi-person rescue in desert areas

In March 2016, we designed and built a desert sightseeing vehicle for a desert scenic spot in Inner Mongolia. It was used as one of the recreational vehicles in the desert scenic spot and used as a short-distance rescue vehicle for desert off-road driving in the scenic spot.

The core of our design is defined as: high entertainment, close to nature, high off-road performance, mechanical aesthetic.

We abandoned the design of the general vehicle in the plan and adopted the design of Monster Truck. At the same time, we give two schemes, 4x4 and 6x6, in order to cope with the off-peak season of tourism and avoid unnecessary increase in use costs.

The whole vehicle adopts a segmented design, the cab is lower than the sightseeing area, and it is totally closed to avoid mechanical failure caused by wind,sand and driver's discomfort affecting driving safety. The sightseeing area is fully open and equipped with a roll cage to keep visitors close to nature on the basis of safety. The seat features a standard three-point seat belt and a four-point seat belt is available upon request.

At the same time, the vehicle uses a high-quality sound system, which can be used as a music device for large group entertainment such as bonfire evenings. Also, various lighting systems can be installed to meet the needs of outdoor night lighting.

A winch is mounted on the front of the vehicle to rescue the vehicle. Various types of desert rescue equipment are also fixed on both sides.

The chassis part adopts the independent suspension structure of five-link fron tand coil spring rear axle + hydraulic shock absorber. The vehicle can achieve the most elegant and exciting dive posture while driving, and also ensure the comfort and safety after landing.

Although the vehicle is high and big, We still achieved 60% of the climb and 40% of the stationary gradient. For the design of the intake system, we have also achieved the ultimate function of sand and dust prevention.

Special desert tyres keep the vehicle running safely all the time. Excellent four-wheel drive system will also make the vehicle easy to get out of trouble when it is trapped in sand.

In August 2016 and September 2017, six vehicles were delivered twice, including two 4x4 and four 6x6.
