Surprisingly, it can also purify the air!

Do you really know how to use an air conditioner?

Truck air conditioning, in addition to cooling, heating, in fact, there are other practical functions.

1

To know how to use it, we first need to know how the air conditioning system cools and heats. The vehicle air conditioning system mainly consists of components such as the compressor, condenser, expansion valve and evaporator. It realizes the functions of cooling and heating by circulating refrigerant between these parts. In some new energy models, a separate electric air conditioning system or heat pump system may be used to realize heating.

The refrigeration principle of most automotive air conditioning systems involves the use of refrigerant. With the action of a compressor, the refrigerant undergoes continuous phase transitions between liquid and gas states, facilitating the transfer of heat.

During the operation of this system, it is important to avoid directly turning off the engine or cutting off power. Components such as the compressor remain powered on, and if the air conditioning is not switched off before shutting down the vehicle for an extended period, it can increase the load on the next startup and potentially impact the lifespan of the compressor.

After understanding the principle, let's discuss the correct operational procedures for daily use. When you start the vehicle and turn on the air conditioning, it is recommended to initially set the air conditioning to the outside circulation mode. This allows the expulsion of hot or cold air from the cabin. Once the desired temperature is reached, you can then switch back to the inside circulation mode.

 3

The second step, when adjusting the cooling, do not set the temperature too low, so as not to cause discomfort to the human body, it is generally recommended to set the temperature between 22-26 ℃. And when heating, do not set the temperature too high, so as not to cause discomfort to the human body. It is generally recommended to set the temperature between 20-24℃.

4

In the third step, when the on-board air conditioner is turned on in the internal circulation mode, the system will circulate the air in the cabin for cooling or heating.

In this mode, the windows can remain closed. When the vehicle is driven on a highway or in an area with high air pollution, it is recommended to close the windows and use the internal recirculation mode to reduce wind resistance, improve driving stability and reduce harmful gases from entering the cabin.

However, keeping the internal circulation mode for a long time may lead to a decline in air quality in the cabin, so after turning on the internal circulation, you can open the window after an interval of 30-60 minutes to circulate and replace the air inside the vehicle to keep the air circulating inside the vehicle.

Finally, the air conditioning system should be inspected regularly to keep the air conditioning filter clean and to ensure that the air conditioning system is functioning properly. If the cooling effect of the air conditioner is very poor, you should check whether the refrigerant used inside the vehicle is sufficient, and whether the compressor and other parts are working properly. Similarly, if the range of the parking air conditioner is poor, check the battery life of the truck and replace it in a timely manner.

For most drivers, the role of air conditioning is to cool as well as heat, but there are actually several other roles for a vehicle air conditioning system.

The first is ventilation. The air conditioning system helps to circulate the air in the cabin and improve the quality of the air inside the vehicle. By switching between internal and external circulation modes, you can bring in fresh air or circulate the cabin air as needed.

Secondly, during the cooling process of the air conditioner, the evaporator absorbs moisture from the cabin, thus reducing the humidity level inside the car. This helps improve comfort, especially in humid weather. In addition, the dehumidification function is effective in preventing windows from fogging up.

Third, the air filter in the air conditioning system can filter out dust, pollen, odors and other particles in the cabin to improve the quality of the air inside the vehicle. The air conditioning systems of some premium models are also equipped with activated carbon filters or HEPA filters, which can further purify the air and remove bacteria, viruses and harmful gaes.

Fourth, when the windows are fogged up, the air conditioning system can quickly defog and improve the clarity of the driver's vision.
