Principle and Maintenance of Intake Pressure Sensor

This sensor is used to monitor the pressure (or pressure and temperature) of the intake manifold. The ECU uses its output signal in conjunction with the RPM signal to determine the density and mass of the intake air DS-S-TF is an intake pressure and temperature sensor that also monitors the intake air temperature.

Attention
1. When installing, apply lubricant and press in gently, then tighten the screws according to the specified requirements.
2. There are high requirements for screw torque, so it should be operated carefully.
3. After a long period of use, the blockage of dirt in the intake air or pollution may cause the sensor to fail, you should always pay attention to check whether the air filter is working properly.
4. The pressure pipe should be installed at a downward angle, and the angle with the vertical direction is 0~60 to ensure that condensate will not enter the pressure sensitive element.
Testing Tips
When the intake manifold pressure sensor is working normally, the signal is drawn out through the adapter, and its signal output should be a continuously changing voltage within the range of 0~5V when measured with a multimeter.
