【Design】Our Dump Truck Cargo Box Designed For Harsh Working Environment

There are still many backward areas in China that are either wet or cold that are struggling to develop. The natural environment in these areas is harsh and the roads are mostly frozen or muddy dirt roads, which makes the construction of construction trucks very troublesome. We have designed off-road vehicles and dump truck cargo boxes with unique performance for this purpose.

 RHOCT's unique cargo box designed for efficient dump trucks in off-road environments increases the efficiency of industrial transport by 20%. The main cargo box dimensions are 5400x2350x1500mm in size, with a total volume of 19m³. The rear of the cargo box is upturned to provide an additional volume of over 2m³, for a total volume of over 21m³.

 Wide cargo box front

The front of the cargo box has a hat-like design, which ensures that cargo will not fall over the cab or into a gap due to inertia or operator error, causing damage to personnel or the vehicle's powertrain. At the same time, the slightly upward angle of the front makes the cargo also have a larger cushioning amount and resistance when the vehicle brakes sharply.

Upturned Rear End Design

The upturned rear design serves three purposes:

1. to reduce the longitudinal inertial impact of cargo during transportation due to acceleration and deceleration.

2. to increase the departure angle and improve the vehicle's passability.

3. to prevent the vehicle from losing control due to rapid dumping.

Side climbing ladder

The side climbing ladder can facilitate the construction personnel to enter the box quickly for related operations.

Unique backdoor structure

The unique rear door structure design makes the rear door and the vehicle automatically form an angle when the cargo box is raised, which greatly improves the safety and unloading speed. After unloading, the rear door can be automatically locked by lowering the cargo box to its original position. During the entire unloading process, the operator does not need to get off the car to perform any operations.

Cargo box heating and anti-blocking

The lower part of the flat cargo box is designed with a special pipeline channel, which can install a cargo box heating device for cold areas to prevent the cargo and the cargo box from sticking due to icing. At the same time, a cargo box vibrator can be installed to clean up the stuck goods in the cargo box with high-frequency vibration.

Unique design of the whole vehicle

The chassis can be fitted with 14.00R20 or 16.00R20 tires. This allows the vehicle to have considerable ground clearance, and the center of gravity is lower than that of conventional dump trucks. The large tires can also ensure that the vehicle is not easily trapped when driving in frozen soil or mud.
