Which is better, xenon lamp or LED headlamp?

When it comes to headlights, I believe that many truck drivers' first reaction must be that the headlights are not bright enough, so adding and refitting them has become the choice of many car users, but this is actually very risky.

Before we talk about which LED or xenon lamp is better, let's briefly talk about what these two lamps are.

LED headlamp is a semiconductor vehicle headlamp composed of LED beads with unidirectional conductivity characteristics. According to different semiconductor materials, the lamp beads can emit different colors of light, and the light emitted by LED headlights can also change.

Xenon lamp actually belongs to HID light source, that is, high pressure gas discharge lamp, it is generally composed of high pressure bag, ballast (ballast) and bulb. The wiring parts connecting all electrical equipment in the circuit are composed of insulating sheath, terminal blocks, wires and insulating binding materials.

In the use of lamps, LED has the highest efficiency, followed by xenon lamp, and halogen lamp has the lowest efficiency. In theory, LED headlights should be the brightest at the same power, while xenon lamps and halogen lamps will become darker and darker. But if you have used all three kinds of lights, you should obviously feel that the halogen light looks the most comfortable. Why?

In fact, the spectrum of incandescent lamp, namely halogen lamp, is the most linear, and xenon lamp is also very comprehensive in this respect, but the spectrum of LED shows obvious discontinuity. This also leads to the incomparable lighting effect. In other words, what LED lights is not so real and comfortable. This leads to the LED, which is not stronger. Of course, with the progress of technology, many manufacturers have also launched LED products with high color rendering.

Therefore, the biggest difference between the two kinds of lamps is also revealed, that is, theoretically, LED headlights with the same power will be brighter than xenon lamps, and it is better to see things under xenon lamps than under LED lamps.
