It is important to do these maintenance of urea tank

This time, we take the common electric drive urea system as an example to introduce several simple ways to deal with urea system failures and precautions.
● Common fault 1: Pipeline crystallization
Fault analysis: Pipeline crystallization is one of the most common problems encountered by truck drivers. Every time the vehicle is started and shut down, there will be residual urea in the urea pump and pipeline. Therefore, when the vehicle is shut down, the urea pump will perform the operation of cleaning the residual urea. However, in low temperature environment or when the heating effect is not good, the residual urea will not be cleaned thoroughly. Over time, it will start to get clogged.
Simple solution: In an emergency, you can use boiling water to heat the pipes. Drivers with good hands-on skills can unplug the pipes and clean them manually. In addition, drivers need to pay attention not to turn off the power immediately when the engine is turned off. Wait until the pipes are emptied before turning it off.
● Common fault 2: Nozzle blockage
Fault analysis: When using inferior urea or poor urea filtration, impurities in the urea accumulate at the nozzle, causing the urea injection system to work abnormally.
Simple solution: Put the urea nozzle in a kettle and boil it for a while until the blocking material is removed. Remember not to clean it manually with sharp objects.
● Common fault 3: Filter element is clogged
Fault analysis: Not only the nozzle, but also the filter element used to filter impurities in urea can be clogged. Its filtering effect will also directly affect the cleanliness of urea at the nozzle. When the filter element is clogged or fails, the harm is often joint.
Simple solution: Replace the filter element and remove it for manual cleaning in an emergency.
● Common fault 4: Sensor failure
Fault analysis: There are many sensors in the urea tank, such as liquid level sensors and temperature sensors. These sensors are used to detect the working status and conditions of the urea system. When the sensor fails, the urea system will not be able to spray into the SCR system normally.
Simple solution: Since the sensor is a technically complex device, when it fails, it can only be replaced.
