Urea tank also requires a filter element change

In addition to the air filter, oil filter and air conditioning filter on a general truck, which other filters also need to be replaced regularly? Does the truck's aftertreatment system also need to have its filter replaced? Perhaps many truck drivers have not paid attention to this topic before. Traditional maintenance is nothing more than replacing the three filters, but they never thought that the urea system also needs to have its filter replaced.
So, what is the role of the urea filter? From the current stage of trucks, the automotive urea filter is generally directly integrated on the urea metering pump. The main function of the urea filter is to provide clean urea solution for the post-treatment system. It can effectively filter impurities in the urea solution, absorb and remove harmful suspended matter in the urea solution, avoid clogging of the urea nozzle, reduce early damage to the nozzle and parts, and extend the service life of the after-treatment.
In fact, the urea filter is an important part of the post-treatment system, but because we don't pay much attention to this small component, many people forget to replace the urea filter. No matter how good the quality of the urea filter is, its "dissolving ability" is limited. Once the filter loses its filtering effect, the impurities in the urea will cause system failure. At the same time, it is also easy to cause the problem of insufficient urea injection.
Normally, the filter element needs to be checked every 30,000 kilometers, and attention should be paid to maintenance. If it fails, it should be replaced.
In addition to urea filters and common three filters, do you know what other unique small filters are on trucks? In fact, trucks with hydraulic retarders also need special attention in maintenance. Hydraulic retarders also have small oil filters and air filters, which need regular maintenance.
