How to clean up resin leakage in the cargo compartment?

In a broad definition, any polymer compound that can be used as a raw material for processing plastic products can be called resin, and the plastics and handicrafts that we use in our daily life need resin as a raw material for production and processing.
Resin itself is not toxic, but under the action of high temperature, strong acid and alkali, it is easy to volatilize and produce toxic gases, so it must be cleaned up at the first time when leakage occurs.
Resin and human skin direct contact, may lead to skin itching, red rash; resin in the carriage for a long time, will corrode the trailer compartment, resulting in damage to the trailer's laminate paint, accelerate the aging of the vehicle, and will lead to early rusting of key components. So after a large number of resin leakage, we should clean up in time to avoid hidden danger.
In the transportation of resin and other viscous materials, cardboard or plastic sheet can be used to cover the cargo compartment in advance. Although most of the resin drums will not be accidentally broken, but even if there is a leakage of resin, the plastic sheet and cardboard underneath can absorb and store in advance, so as to prevent the resin from overflowing into the cargo compartment.
If it's a minor or small amount of resin that has gotten on the surface, we can generally use warm water and a car washing cloth to wipe it off. The resin will gradually dilute and dissolve over time. After that, you can use high concentration alcohol or soapy water for further cleaning. Following this process, the majority of the resin can be cleaned off completely.
This will not work when the amount of resin leaking out is large, we can use sand to clean it up.
Sand has an extremely strong adsorption capacity, especially for the cleaning of some hazardous chemical liquid and gel-like substances. The advantages of sand are very prominent in these cases.
When the resin has just leaked out and not yet solidified, you can use sand to cover the cargo compartment that is full of resin, and then wait quietly for about 5-10 minutes, so that the sand absorbs enough resin, and then slowly use a shovel to shovel the sand + resin mixture out of the cargo compartment.
Otherwise, after some time, due to the hardening of the resin, the sand will be unable to absorb it, and you can only purchase and use specialized solvents to clean it thoroughly. This not only increases the time spent, but the solvents themselves are relatively expensive as well.
This is basically effective as long as the cargo is related to oils, fluids, and sticky objects, and is both non-invasive and efficient.
