How to effectively deal with the break-in period of the truck?

Whenever a new vehicle is purchased, the first thing that needs to be overcome is the break-in period. Typically, how well a new vehicle is broken in will directly affect the fuel consumption of the vehicle in its subsequent operation, and may also affect the service life of the components and the entire vehicle. Therefore, successfully getting through the break-in period is very important for a newly purchased vehicle.
During the initial driving phase of a new car, i.e. before 2000 kilometers, it is best to drive it on a flat highway in the economic rev range of the engine, as this will help the components in the power chain system to break in with each other.
Of course, when the vehicle is in motion, you need to observe the various malfunction warning lights on the combination meter, and if any of them light up, you need to consult a service station and drive safely after the problem is solved.
New cars should not be fully loaded, as this is to avoid the excessive load on the vehicle's suspension system caused by the heavy payload. As a general rule, when a vehicle is first loaded, it is best not to load more than 75% of the vehicle's standard load mass.
In addition, choosing to run-in on a flat road can also avoid the excessive load on the vehicle body and suspension caused by bumpy road surfaces, reducing the damage to the suspension system.
Truckers with newly purchased vehicles tend to focus on the speed of the vehicle during the break-in period of the new vehicle and ignore the load requirements of the vehicle.
Secondly, the vehicle in the normal driving process, you need to pay attention to the vehicle chassis overheating and noise phenomenon. Also avoid the emergency braking.
This is because emergency braking not only causes a vigorous shock to the break-in brake system, but also increases the shock load on the engine and chassis.
For brake systems, such as brake pads and drums, which are friction parts, a few hundred kilometers of break-in is usually enough.
During the break-in period of a new vehicle, you need to pay extra attention to abnormal rattles and heat phenomena to avoid amplifying small faults.
When it reaches 5,000 kilometers, it is the mileage to do the first maintenance for commonly used models (not long oil change models). At this point, the break-in period is safely over.
When doing the first maintenance, in addition to changing the necessary oil and water and filter elements, it is best to check whether there is a loose bolt phenomenon failure, and if it occurs, it is best to solve it together.
Vehicle break-in is not just at the stage when a new vehicle is first purchased. When a vehicle is replaced with key components or large assembly parts, it also needs to be broken in for a period of time so that it is more conducive to safe driving.
The main role of new car break-in is to ensure that the various parts of the car can fully contact and friction, so as to ensure that the vehicle can adapt to various road conditions.
