Four parts that need key maintenance!

1. Maintenance of wiper blades

In order to ensure driving safety, wiper blades are best replaced once a year. In the replacement of wiper blades, do not increase the length and width of the scraping strip, lengthening the length of the wiper blade, although it can increase the visible range of the window view, but relatively will also increase the burden of electrical equipment such as wiper motors.

2. Brake system maintenance

The brake system of small trucks mainly uses brake fluid to transmit brake force, while heavy trucks use pneumatic brake system. The two kinds of brakes should use different maintenance methods.

For trucks with oil brakes, check the brake fluid level before leaving the vehicle. If you notice a drop in the level, check the brake fluid line for leaks immediately. Brake fluid will fail over time as it absorbs moisture from the air, so it's best to replace it once a year.

For pneumatic brake systems, always pay attention to draining water from the system and replacing the drier regularly. Moisture in the pneumatic system will corrode the piping and affect the braking effect, and in serious cases can even lead to brake system failure. In addition, you should always check the working condition of the pump and the wear and tear of the air pump belt, so that it can be replaced in time.

3. Maintenance of vehicle lights

In the usual maintenance process, we must pay attention to diligently checking whether the lights on the vehicle work properly; if found to have a light bulb that is not bright, it should be replaced in a timely manner. After checking the lights, the owner must also check whether the lamp dust cover is intact.

If the dust cover is broken, rain is easy to enter the light. In the light cover of the inner layer, water mist forms, so the brightness of the lights will be greatly affected. Time may also corrode plugs and wires. The way to deal with the water mist is to turn on the headlights and use light heat to make the mist disappear.

4. Maintenance of tires

First, check the air pressure of the tires. Make appropriate adjustments according to the situation. For example, when the road surface is slippery and the weather is hot, the pressure should be lower, and the air should not be pumped up too much; when the temperature plummets, the tires must be replenished to cope with the low-temperature road surface.

Secondly, tires need to be checked for injuries, such as possible cracks in the tires should be carefully checked and replaced if necessary.

Third, the front and rear tires have different load capacity and wear differently, so switch the front and rear tires after driving a certain mileage, which will extend the service life of the tires.

Every time you drive a vehicle before leaving, check the condition of the tires, so as not to have a blowout when driving on the road, causing major traffic accidents.
