Common-rail fuel line should not be removed

 With the increasing popularity of electronically controlled engines, it is extremely important to properly maintain electronically controlled engines, but when the engine is working, it is important to avoid disassembling all the fittings on the high-pressure side of the fuel line, such as high-pressure fuel lines, common rail fuel lines, and so on.

When a high-pressure common rail diesel engine is operating, its fuel pressure can reach over 2000 bar. Under such high pressure, if the common rail oil pipe joint is disassembled, the high-speed injection of fuel will inevitably produce a high-pressure liquid cutting effect, which is sharper than a knife. If it is sprayed onto the human body or eyes, the consequences would be unimaginable.

It should be disassembled and serviced after the engine has been turned off and you have waited a little while for the pressure to be fully relieved.

▎Bulging tire 

Tire bulges are very dangerous, especially in the front wheels. Tire explosions caused by bulges can cause accidents. Therefore, once a bulge is found during inspection, it should be replaced in a timely manner.

To check the air pressure of tires, please use the special air pressure gauge.

▎ Carefully open the radiator cap of the water tank 

Once a vehicle experiences overheating while driving, it is important not to immediately turn off the engine. Instead, find a safe place to park and allow the engine to idle and cool down. Do not attempt to open the radiator cap, as hot liquid may spray out and cause burns. You can use a wet towel to cover the radiator cap and slowly open the first latch (approximately 1/4 turn). Once the steam pressure has been released completely, you can fully open the radiator cap.

▎Prevent gloves and clothing from getting caught when servicing rotating parts. 

When performing maintenance on a vehicle and your hands need to be near high-speed rotating components, it is crucial to remove gloves. These high-speed rotating mechanisms, such as cooling fans and belts, often have burrs that can easily catch onto gloves. This can lead to injuries if your hand gets pulled in. Additionally, during maintenance, it is important to secure your sleeves and clothing to avoid unnecessary injuries. Many individuals have been injured as a result of not taking these precautions.

▎The handbrake is not always reliable

It is common for many vehicle owners to rely solely on the parking brake after parking their vehicles, thinking it will keep them secure. However, there have been instances where the parking brake has failed, leading to unexpected vehicle movement. To mitigate this risk, it is recommended to park on a level surface without any incline whenever possible. If parking on an inclined surface is unavoidable, it is advisable to place wheel chocks or wedges under the wheels to prevent sudden vehicle movement and unnecessary damage or accidents.

▎Make sure the cab is lifted into place. 

During the maintenance process of vehicle engines and other components, it is often necessary to lift and tilt the driver's cabin. However, it is crucial to ensure that the cabin is lifted all the way up, as failure to do so will prevent the locking mechanism from engaging. If the cabin is subjected to external forces, there is a high risk of it falling down and causing significant harm to the maintenance personnel.
